My cousin Kelsey Carpenter Vanzanten gave birth to her son, Devon, in Grand Rapids. Grandpa, Grandma, my mom, and I went to the hospital to see him. He was a beautiful baby. Kelsey said her mom brought in soothing music to help her relax. She had her own birthing room which was really nice. We all took turns holding Devon.
