Took a tour of Waimea Canyon, which is the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. Saw some more blow holes. We had a gecko in our hotel room, which freaked me out. We had the TV on and saw that Michael Landon had passed away. I loved watching him in "Little House on the Prairie".

June 26, 1991: Snorkeling
One of our tour guides, Iwalani, left for Oahu in the morning because her daughter was sick in the hospital. We went snorkeling where Captain Cook died in Kealakekua Bay. It was fun looking at the fish and swimming with them. Lillie worked as a substitute janitor and Paul was an electrician. We hung out with them for most of the trip.
