This weekend, I went to Pioneer Park to visit my friend Kathryn and her son, Kenny. I really enjoyed smelling the bonfires all over. It reminded me of the happy memories I have of camping with the Gonyo/Klee/Lawver clan. We used to go to Silver Lake every summer which was so much fun. We had great conversation, great food, great card games, etc.
We kids are all grown up now and the camping trips have stopped. I miss my smores, too.
We had hot dogs and mac n cheese for dinner with smores for dessert. Maggie tried to eat my smore.
Went to watch the sunset. It was cloudy out tonight, but it was still nice to go down to the beach.
