Easter Weekend

Boy, it was good to have Friday through Sunday off at work. Mom and I stopped at the outlets in Howell on our way to Ann Arbor. We took our time getting to Ann Arbor which was nice, as we seem to always be in a rush.

George, Marianne, mom and I went to the fish fry in Dexter in the evening. We met Marianne's cousin and his wife.

Joy got out of work around 7 p.m. I helped her with her new computer. She has a Mac which I have never used before. It takes some getting used to.

Saturday, Marianne, Joy, mom and I went to Twelve Oaks mall in Novi. You will be quite surprised that I didn't buy a single thing. This will have to be documented in a book as this rarely happens. lol
We had lunch with Mary Ann Poczik at Max & Erma's. Everyone enjoyed there lunches.

In the evening, we went to their church, St. Joseph's. The Easter Vigil was nice but 2 1/2 hrs. George found this funny ticket in his coat pocket that said 'Your ticket to Heaven'. He said he had his and asked if I have my ticket to heaven. ha ha

Sunday, Kim, Owen, Alex, Nathan, Wendy, Todd, Rayna and Rylee came over for Easter dinner. It is rare that we all get together. I made sure to get a family portrait of the Gonyo family. I will have to photo shop grandma in there to make it complete, as she lives in Florida.

I am glad we were able to get together with everyone this weekend.

Friday Nights

It has always been a tradition of my family to go out to eat on Friday nights.   It is a nice way to end the week and not have to think about cooking.

In the last few years, I have found another hang out spot....Barnes and Noble. I look forward to going there most Friday nights. I really enjoy it when I see someone I know there.  I have met some nice women there, such as Kay Tobey, Diane, and Karen.

I enjoy getting my flavored coffee and reading the tabloids.    Plus, I can bring my laptop there and use their Wi-Fi.     I have a Nook Color, which allows me to read books in the store for 1 hour each day.
